Who are we looking for as our IT Support Technician? Ideally, you will have the following skills:
- Previous experience working as a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Technician.
- A ‘can do attitude’ and ‘no job is too small or to big’ kind of mentality.
- General networking skills - WLAN, WAN, LAN configuration & troubleshooting.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Experience of Windows Server Support and relevant technologies - Active Directory, DHCP, DNS would be an advantage.
- The ability to troubleshoot until issues are resolved.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
The IT Support Technician role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
As an IT Support Technician, you will be working in a close-knit team, ensuring that all IT queries (mainly 1st Line) are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner. Primarily supporting users on site at Head Office but also remotely supporting our 15 depots across the UK. Technologies you will be supporting include Dark Trace, Antigena, Webroot – Antivirus, Censornet – Web Filter, Heimdal – Remote Support, Soti Mobile Device Management, Ricoh Print Management and Office 365 – One Drive, MS Teams. Training on company-specific applications will be provided. Working Monday to Friday.
