About the role

Full-time, permanent position in our workshop based in Belbins, Romsey.Service, maintenance and repair of our own fleet of Car and Light Goods vehicles and Trailers to high standards, following all on site H&S PoliciesCarry out diagnostics and repairsDefect rectificationPrepare vehicles for MOT Test for first time passComplete electronic service and inspection documents accuratelyAttend vehicle breakdowns if requiredMay also be required to carry out some minor repairs on our HGV Fleet if required.Own Tools RequiredSkills and QualificationsQualified to NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds or EquivalentFull UK Driving licenceAir Conditioning training an advantage but not essentialIveco/Vauxhall/Land Rover Experience an advantage but not essentialHoursHours 8.00am to 17.00 + Overtime available (some flexibility on start/Finish times)Alternating Saturdays 6.00 to 13.00Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Free parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityWork Location: In person Ace Liftaway is a Waste Management and Recycling Company based in Belbins, Romsey. The company runs a fleet of Light commercial, and HGVs including Tippers Grabs, Hook Loaders, Unit and trailers. Our Fleet is mainly Euro 6 DAF HGVs with Iveco, Ford, Land Rover Light commercial vehicles and Trailers, also a fleet of Vauxhall company cars. Newly built workshop inspection bay with inspection pit and brake rollers ETC, alongside our existing workshop facilities.
