About the role
A great opportunity has arisen to join Adam’s Morey as a LCV Diagnostic/General Technician at their site in Portsmouth.Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform servicing and repairs on vans, motorhomes, cars and occasional light PSV vehicles, adhering to the rigorous quality standards established by stellantis and the Commercial Motor Industry.Complete major electrical and engine repair work.Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand and routine repairs and maintenance to other make vehicles.Demonstrating a positive and proactive approach when solving technical problems, contributing to the smooth workflow of the workshop.Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues, ensuring seamless information documentation and exchange regarding repair processes and progress.Complete warranty diagnosis and repairs as per the manufacturer guidelines.Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special RequirementsPrevious experience in complex diagnostic procedures.Previous experience as a Technician.Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).Manufactures certification in diagnostic workA full UK driving licenceIdeally hold a valid MOT cardExcellent customer service skills.Positive “can do” attitude.Problem SolverHours of Work:Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings overtime 7:00 am to 11:00am i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
