Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI) Northern Ireland’s only Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealership have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager.
This is a full-time, permanent role which will be based within our sales showroom of our Mallusk dealership.
Key purpose of the role:
As Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement the marketing strategy which will drive the MBNI Truck & Van brand in Northern Ireland and beyond. You will create integrated marketing campaigns across many channels for our commercial vehicle business including Truck & Van Sales, Aftersales, Parts, and our Rental business.
This is a varied role within a fast-paced environment and will encompass all marketing activities for the business to include:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our products and services
- Website management, content creation for social media, digital & email marketing ensuring all content is in keeping with Mercedes-Benz guidelines.
- Event planning; to include the promotion of our new state of the art Dungannon dealership.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to the management team.
- Vehicle stock management for both new and used vehicles
- CRM database management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging products, and best practices in marketing, and apply them to enhance the company's marketing strategies.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum return on investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a relevant marketing role
- Degree in Marketing/Business or related qualification
- Confident in co-ordinating marketing plans with the manufacturer and management team
- Proactive approach with a high level of creativity
- Proficient in website management and use of CMS software
- Proficient in CRM and database management
- Evidence of implementing and managing social media campaigns for business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience working in the automotive industry
- Competent user of Kerridge or similar Dealer Management System
- Knowledge of graphic design packages; for example, Adobe or Canva
