Up to £42,000 OTE

£2,000 joining bonus - £2,000 annual performance - £2,000 shift allowance

Due to the increasing demands of our busy workshop - we welcome applications from both Heavy Vehicle Mechanics & Light Vehicle Mechanics.

Salary dependent on skills and experience. Joiner bonus payable on successful completion of probation.

Contracted Hours - 39 hours per week

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 8.15 – 16:45, Friday 8:30 – 17:00

Week 2: Monday to Thursday 8.15 – 16:45, Friday 8:30 – 17:00 & Saturday 8:30 – 15:00

Week 3: Monday to Thursday 15:45 – Midnight

Job role

The purpose of this role is to deliver a high standard of technical advice, servicing and maintenance to all our customers.

Carry out servicing and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles to a premium brand standard
Ensure job cards are completed accurately and in line with manufacturer standards
Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop

Requirements

City & Guilds level 3/NVQ Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Full UK driving licence and your own tools
Excellent work ethic with a commitment to high-quality workmanship and vehicle care
Strong technical knowledge and experience in vehicle fault-finding and repairs
