About the role
We currently have a rare opportunity available for a qualified Mercedes-Benz technician, Workshop Controller or Foreman to join our Mercedes workshop with the opportunity to further progress your career.Previous experience with Mercedes-Benz vehicles will be a pre requisite given the importance of the role.If you are looking for an exciting career as Foreman the day-to-day role will include:· To provide support and guidance to fellow technicians in the workshop, promoting teamwork whilst sharing your knowledge and experience· Work closely with the General Manager organising the daily workload according to the scope and type of work· Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs for more specialised vehicles and resolving technical problems· Be responsible for quality control and road tests for all vehicles serviced and repaired· Liaise with customers when necessary, providing expert technical advice building on our enviable reputation for trust and reliability· In house and manufacturer training providedThe ideal candidate will have a track record with a Mercedes franchised dealer or Mercedes Independent specialist.You can look forward to a highly competitive basic salary above dealer rates, bonus, pension , David Lloyd Health Club membership for you & your family, as well as a range of team member benefits.If you are looking to progress your career working with Mercedes-Benz cars, utilising the latest diagnostic equipment, tools and technology working together with a great team, then do not miss out on this opportunity to apply.Terms & conditions:* OTE negotiable based on skills and experience** £1,000 sign-on bonus payable after 30 days of employment, with a further £1,000 after 90 days, and a final payment of £500 after 6 months.
