WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION - MOBILE HGV FLEET TECHNICIAN Job DescriptionAs Part of our Service24 Mobile Team, You will Attend, Diagnose and Repair Vehicles at Roadside.Carry out Safety & MOT Inspection to DVSA standardsCarrying out repairs with defect rectificationTroubleshooting, fault finding, liaising with controllers and management, reporting on faults to discuss rectification processSupporting and working with other technicians and clientsBasic knowledge of air brakes / EBS-ABS systems and diagnostic proceduresEssential CriteriaPrevious motor vehicle technician experienceApprentice trained and qualified to C&G or NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair, or equivalent.Hardworking and the ability to work under pressure in a safe and responsible mannerReliable and punctualDesirable CriteriaPrevious Commercial Vehicle experiencePrevious dealership experienceExperience with Breakdown/Mobile Response WorkFull driving licenceHGV licenceBenefits29 days holiday Pro Rata including bank holidayAdditional days holiday following five years’ service.Car leasing Scheme Available After the Qualifying Period.Friendly team environmentHGV Class 2 driver training is provided following the successful completion of the probationary periodCompany Pension SchemeManufacturer TrainingYour own Mercedes Benz Trucks personal development plan to build and develop your expertise throughout your career.
