Even the management are very approachable”.We have a new vacancy for a Municipal Vehicle Sales Specialist to join our Scotland wide sales team. This is an exciting position within a growing company that comes with an industry leading remuneration package.We are looking for a motivated individual to seek out and grow enquiries and potential leads into regular and long-term clients. This will mainly be through the framework of local authorities, Municipals and Key Fleets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to really make this role their own, developing relationships with local authority and Municipal opportunities and in turn building a pipeline of vehicle sales to these customers. The role can be carried out remotely so candidates can be based across Scotland.The key areas of responsibility will be:Proactively managing existing Key Accounts by maintaining agreed service levels and building strong relationships both on an individual and company level.Planning and organising your own outbound sales activities to win new local business by prospecting, designing and delivering sales presentations in the business community.Seeking incremental business opportunities where appropriate.Maximise opportunities, both incoming and self-generated.Follow through sold orders to customer delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.Demonstrate the most suitable options to the customer by understanding and adapting their buying strategy.Liaise with Manufacturer staff on joint visits and strategic action plansAttend Trade shows along with any other Manufacturer / Dealer eventsThe successful candidate must have a customer focused approach with excellent selling skills, combined with the ability to communicate to all customer groups building strong relationships across the region.Candidates should be able to demonstrate:Proven experience in new business development in the automotive industry.Self-motivation and reliability coupled with the drive and passion to succeed.Excellent communication skills coupled with confident and knowledgeable negotiating skills.Commercial awareness and a good working knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.Extensive experience with customer account management.Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth within a business-to-business environment.Experience at finding and developing new business.Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.The successful applicant will enjoy excellent working conditions as well as a competitive remuneration package and industry leading bonus structure.
