About the role

Night Shift TechnicianRygor Auto: Heathrow Truck£19.00 - £21.50 per hour, DOE40 hours a week – 20:00 – 06:00Your Role:At Rygor Auto, we are looking for a Night Shift Technician that will be a team player to ensure we keep our customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance.Being part of Team Rygor is about being experts in what we do. We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team, you will benefit from Mercedes-Benz training and online H&S e learnings.Qualification - You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance. You will need the ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.Day to day, you will be:Performing major and minor repairs to vehicles.Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changesMaintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dustWorking with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehiclesMaintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handledProviding repair services to clients on the road in case of emergenciesCompleting relevant documentation and paperwork asrequiredand providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher managementProviding in-house training to recruits and traineesWhat’s it like to be part of Team Rygor?“Rygor is a great place with equal opportunities for everyone and they are Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful and choosing Rygor to grow your career is something no one can regret.”- Patrick, TechnicianResearch shows that some people are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet 100% of the criteria.
