6 month contract - possibly progressing to permanent
We are looking for an experienced HGV Parts Advisor to work within our busy Parts Department where you will be required to work pro-actively and with a professional manner when dealing internal and external customers.
Working 40 hours a week alternating 7am to 4pm and 9am to 6pm with alternating Saturday mornings paid at time and a half.
Paying up to £30,000 with great benefits
Main Tasks:
- To discuss customer requirements face to face and over the phone and to use the system to locate parts by description and number.
- To ensure the workshop technicians have the parts ready for their jobs
- To ensure that appropriate levels of stock health and Service Index KPI’s are maintained within the Dealerpoint.
- To deliver Customer Service Excellence and maintain / develop customer relationships locally.
- Maintain positive relationship activity / communication between Dealerpoint and Retail Sales Centre in order to maximise Customer Satisfaction and profitability
- Full UK Driver's Licence
- Strong inter-personal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Customer focused – able to establish and maintain relationships
- To be able to develop or work in developing new or enhancing existing processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships at all levels including Dealerpoint Managers, colleagues, Regional Peers, customers and suppliers.
- Strong IT literacy (MS Office (particularly Excel) ) and a GDS/Kerridge style dealer system awareness
