Job Description
Mercedes-Benz Parts Sales Advisor
We have opened the doors of our new state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz dealership in Dungannon and we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team.
The backbone of our operations, the parts team ensure every vehicle has the components it needs, when it needs them. With great communication skills, you will be providing customers with expert product advice along with promotions and offers.
Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
(Saturday overtime working will be on a rotational basis; 08:00 – 12:00)
Job Role:
- To handle all customers/prospective customers in a prompt, helpful and efficient manner both on the telephone and in person
- Communicating with customers, giving product advice along with promotions and offers
- Identifying and sourcing Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle parts, processing orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Upsell products and vehicle parts accessories
- Locate unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange for delivery
- Assist with stock management and with general parts department duties
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist in stock management
- Process orders and handle transactions efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Aptitude, Values & Work Ethic:
- Positivity with the desire to learn and develop within the dealership
- A passion for vehicles
Essential:
- Experience within a similar role within the motor industry
- IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and navigate parts catalogues
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- A good team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Commitment to delivering customer excellence
Desirable:
- Experience of using Kerridge/CDK or a dealer management system
