PDI Supervisor - LeicesterWe currently have an exciting position as a PDI Supervisor in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Leicester.As a PDI Supervisor, we can offer you:Competitive annual salary (depending on your experience)Training & Development opportunities – inhouse and manufacturers22 days holiday (plus Stats), rising to 25 days (plus stats) after 5 years serviceEmployee Of The Month CompetitionEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer Progression OpportunitiesPensionDeath in Service Life Insurance SchemeCycle to work schemeFree onsite parkingWho are we looking for as a PDI Supervisor:You will have previous experience working as a PDI Supervisor, Workshop Controller or similar role within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector.Experience of preparing, planning and ability to problem solve in a fast paced working environment.Previous experience of completing registration documentation and records to meet required DVSA standards.Up to date knowledge of basic H&S legislation and practices.The PDI Supervisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):All job cards to be pre-timed / timings agreed with fitter prior to starting each job. Upon completion of job, supervisors must check hours booked against time allowed. Ensure all time booked is accounted for to maximise revenue and at least 95% productivity is achieved on every job. Prioritise and organise work patterns to clear oldest jobs first, keeping any backlog to a minimum. Liaising with sales department to understand customer expectations and work with them to meet demands. Monitor fitter performance on jobs, complete job card write ups so job change over time is kept to a minimum.The PDI Supervisor working hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pmApply today to start your journey with Ford & SlaterNo agencies please.
