About the role

We are a well established groundworks & civil engineering company in East Anglia, looking for an experienced plant fitter to join our team. The workshop is based at Snetterton, Norfolk and all of our sites are within a 1 hour radius of this location.The ideal candidate will be required to service and maintain a variety of construction plant both on our sites and in the workshop. Fabrication and diagnostic experience would be desirable but not essential.A full UK driving licence is essential. Cat C1 Licence is preferred but not essential.We have a state of the art workshop with all the best tools available at your disposal. We have a fully kitted out Iveco Daily ready for someone to take over.Duties- Repair, maintain and diagnose a variety of equipment including heavy plant machinery and small hand tools- Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components- Operate power tools for cutting and shaping materials- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinerySkills- Vast mechanical knowledge- Proficiency with hand tools- Experience in welding and fabrication- Competence in using power tools- Good communication skills- Good understanding of electronics/diagnostics is preferred but not essentialRate advertised is a guide only and will be negotiated before work commences depending on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearLicence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In personAdditional pay:Bonus schemeLoyalty bonusBenefits:Company carOn-site parking
