Job AdvertA new opportunity has been created at Daimler Truck/EvoBus UK Ltd for a PSV or Commercial Vehicle Technician.The RoleYour Main Tasks will include:To prepare new vehicles for certification and customer handover.Undertake various types of repairs and maintenance on vehicles.To ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with legal and / or company standards.To always maintain a safe and clean working environment, and report deficiencies to ensure relevant actions are taken.About you:Fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician holding a recognised motor industry apprenticeship / qualification.Experience of working within a busy workshop.Electro/mechanical knowledge relevant to the bus and coach industry is desirable.Proficient in general IT applications, specifically Microsoft Office and a Dealer Management System. DMS.On Offer:A competitive rate of pay depending on skills and experience from £17.13 up to £19.19 per hour inclusive of a 10% shift allowance.A 42-hour working week Monday to Friday with overtime paid at time x 1.5 (weekdays) & time x 1.75 (weekends)Performance related bonus up to £200 per month.Flexible Shift options available (which excludes weekend and nights work)25 days holiday per year as well as statutory holidays.Life assurance from day one (4 x salary)Access to a group personal pension scheme, private medical insurance, the Mercedes Benz car lease scheme, and employee assistance programManufacturer training in both current and future Zero Emissions technology.Our Process:When applying please include a full current CV, once this has been reviewed, we will be in touch to advise if your application will be progressed through to the next stage or not depending on your experience.
