Job Vacancy - Roadside Commercial Vehicle Technician We are looking to recruit a roadside technician to join our team in Exeter. This will involve attending various breakdowns during the day & out of hours (Out of hours either full time or on weekly rotation).When not out on a roadside job during the day you will be expected to help out with routine workshop repairs/diagnostics etc. The volume does vary anywhere from being out all day to maybe only one or two jobs roadside per day.Shifts are as follows:Early Shift Start 7am-3.30pm, Late Shift Start 10am-7pm. These shifts are not set in stone, if out of hours jobs are busy then this is taken into consideration for the following day.Every other Saturday Morning 7am-12am, Paid at overtime rate.The ideal candidate will be able to carry out a full range of activities such as; preventative maintenance inspections, servicing, general maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on various makes of commercial vehicles.All manufacturer specific training & diagnostics training will be provided.All overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.Daily Call out Cover Charge + Additional Call out Payment for every call out from home. Service van to be provided for daily commute including fuel for both when on-call & off call.Various training avenues available with Isuzu & Iveco trucks for successful Candidates.Up to £18.30 per hour dependant on suitability + Standby & Call Out Charges.
