We are looking for a passionate Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on the industry.

You will be responsible for providing outstanding product support to UK and Ireland Renault Trucks sales staff, customers, and prospects. This will take the form of developing propositions to meet customer requirements, and exploring possible technical solutions in partnership with Lyon-based engineering teams where these requirements cannot be met by existing model specifications.
 
You will be one of the company’s product experts and will develop and deliver excellent training materials, identifying and communicating key customer benefits to inspire confidence in sales staff to communicate these. You will occasionally provide technical support to company and industry events where Renault Trucks are being displayed or demonstrated.
 
Working closely with specialist bodybuilders, you will ensure that Renault Trucks enjoys a reputation as a partner which is easy to work with, and one which they are happy to recommend to their customers.

Who are you?

You are an engineering professional with a strong technical understanding of commercial vehicles.  Whether qualified to HNC or HND level in Mechanical Engineering or possessing equivalent industry experience, your understanding of the commercial vehicle market and in depth of knowledge of Renault Trucks products will set you apart.

Your understanding of the sales process, coupled with strong organisational and administrative skills make you the ideal candidate to work in a fast-paced environment.  You have first-class communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and your customer-focused approach ensures that you always deliver outstanding service and solutions.

You and Your New Colleagues

At Renault Trucks UK, you will join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about what they do. You will work closely with our dealer teams, bodybuilders, and various internal departments, including product management and engineering teams in Lyon. Your role will be pivotal in fostering strong relationships and ensuring that Renault Trucks remains a preferred partner in the industry. Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will collaborate with Sales Engineers,  Product Engineer and the Compliance Manager. The team is supportive and collaborative, always striving to solve varied problems and meet the diverse needs of our customers.
