What experience do I need?
You will be a team-player who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where there are set processes and procedures. You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification. Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing. Ability to carry out MOT’s is a plus, but not essential as full training will be offered
- Carry out service, maintenance of all vehicles across the franchise brand portfolio.
- Fault diagnosing and repairs, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters.
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation.
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)
- Completing job cards / electronic write ups on franchise platforms.
- Completion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC’s)
- Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
- Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.
- Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade/job skills as required by the Workshop Manager to maximise workshop efficiency
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance.
