Are you ready to accelerate your career in the automotive industry? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Workshop Driver. Start your journey driving our vans and progress towards earning your HGV Class 1 licence with our comprehensive support and Training. This role is an essential part of ensuring a smooth and efficient operation and is responsible for:
- Moving all vehicles around our yard and into the workshop - this is the primary function and can get very busy at times.
- Signing vehicles in and out of the business
- Ensuring safe parking and storage onsite
- Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Controllers for keys and vehicles
- Returning vehicles to the customers
Please note, this can be a very physically demanding job.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A valid and clean class B licence
- Understanding of driver regulations and laws
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Customer orientated
- Ability to use your own initiative
