What you will do
- Maintain and grow customer relationships
- Managing territory and identifying key potential and existing customers within that area and wider afield
- Ensuring all new activities with prospects and existing customers is recorded on our chosen customer database
- Utilising the use of our driver trainer team and demonstration fleet to fully enhance the benefits of the Mercedes Benz product lines
- Preparing in depth proposals on Mercedes Benz and FUSO Canter product to fully cover the customers needs including full life costs, fuel savings and residual values etc
- Working as part of a wider team with administration, parts and most importantly aftersales to ensure the finest customer experience in all aspects of the business
- Reporting weekly activity to General Manager and Group Truck Sales Manager
- Attending customer meetings to actively qualify their transport requirements
- Explaining in detail product features and how they can impact the customers business in a positive way
- Explaining in detail finance and aftersales products available to the customer and actively promoting these options
- Concluding from prospect to sale including negotiation and contract signing
- Working with administration to ensure all orders are correct and the specification to the exact customer requirements
- Managing the customer experience from order to handover with regular updates on vehicle progress
- Measuring you success by the customers satisfaction ensuring we give the highest level of customer service for both Mercedes Benz and FUSO Canter customers
- Ensuring all paperwork is correct and present as part of the sales process
- Adhering to current government legislation and ensuring all vehicles that go on the road are legal according to the relevant bodies
- Delivering the vehicle to the highest standard with our driver trainer team. On time and to the customers request
- Liaising with suppliers and involving them with the customer in complex builds to ensure we are adding value and ensuring fit for purpose criteria

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
