About the role
Job DescriptionCity Auction Group is seeking a full-time Two car transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have experience in the transportation industry, a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.Duties and Responsibilities·Load and unload vehicles at customer’s locations·Communicate with office to confirm delivery dates, times and schedules·Maintain a clean and safe working environment·Follow all safety regulations and procedures·Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.Driving one of our Iveco 7.2 Tonne flat beds and trailer you’ll be responsible for the safe loading/unloading and delivery of our vehicles to our ever increasing customer base.You’ll be required to complete your daily vehicle checks and report any faults to the Transport Manager.MUST HAVE Experience in towing trailers.A good understanding of the EU drivers hours and UK road network.Category C1E or C+E licenceCPC and Tachograph cardJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £30,000.00 per yearBenefits:CanteenCompany pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Peterborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):Do you hold a C1E or C+E LicenceLicence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work Location: In person
