Job Description
We currently have an exciting position as a Valeter in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Leicester.
As a Valeter, we can offer you:
- An hourly rate of up to £11.44 per hour (depending on your Valeter experience)
- 22 days holiday (plus Stats), rising to 25 days (plus stats) after 5 years service

Who are we looking for as a Valeter:
- You will have previous experience working within Valeting / Cleaning / Detailing / Washing / Smart Repair / Steam Cleaning / Industrial Cleaning of vehicles or associated equipment, ideally in the commercial vehicle, motor trade or a similar sector.
- Knowledge of Truck / Car care products and services would be a distinct advantage.
- A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
The Valeter role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Steam clean and valet Trucks / Vehicles. Ensure the valet area is kept clean, tidy, and organised. Valet equipment is kept in good working order and well maintained. Safe working practices are employed and report any vehicle defects. Maintain a smart and professional appearance and observe Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
