Wash Bay OperativeLocation: West Thurrock, GB, RM20 3FZPosition Type: Professional Transport is at the core of modern society. What you will do£12.81pr hr - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday as requiredHours: 0800 to 1700 with 1-hour unpaid breakWe will also look to give training for additional fork lift truck dutiesResponsibilities:Washdown, operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean presented vehicesKeep the wash bay clean and free from debrisEmptying the rubbish and recycling bins around the wash bayCleaning spills or accidentsSafely apply industrial cleaning chemicals and using them at the appropriate levelsKeeping the cleaning chemicals supplies stockedMaintaining the cleaning equipment in full working order and report any repairs that are neededCompleting a set number of daily tasks as specified by any SupervisorsEnsure that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured when not in usePerform regular maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure proper and safe operationResponsible for the removal of hazards and the promotion of a health and safety-compliant environmentThis role will be dirty and wet, working outside in all weathers in the wash bay area.
