Job Description
Lancashire DAF are looking for a Workshop Cleaner/Driver to join our busy PDI workshop in Bamber Bridge, Preston.
The main duties will be to assist in general labouring activities to ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard, carrying out commercial vehicle road tests and receiving inspections at busy times.
Duties include:
- Keeping the workshop tidy and organised
- Housekeeping of the yard areas
- Handling of waste consistent with ISO14001 processes
- Observing all Health & Safety requirements
- Use of forklift truck
- Moving vehicles on site
- Driving duties, which can include commercial vehicle road tests
- Carrying out receiving inspections on new vehicles
- Other general workshop tasks
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a positive can-do attitude who can work well as part of a team. An HGV driving licence is essential for this role.
