Workshop Controller – BournemouthBasic salary: Salary dependent on experience but starting from £34,000Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at our Basingstoke site.What you’ll be doing:Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repairProviding feedback to customers on their service/repair, including pricing of additional work when required, explaining the reasons fully and competentlyDay to day running of the workshopManaging all staff within the department, communicating instructions to technicians and ensuring that work is completed in a timely mannerWhat we need from you:A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs/additional repairs to customersCustomer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations and an ability to up-sell our services and products where appropriateStrong IT skillsAwareness of warranty guidelines, service intervals, etcBe organised, efficient and able to multi-task efficientlyBe flexible, energised and a team playerPrevious experience in a similar roleIn return we’ll offer:A market leading manufacturer led training plan to develop your skills22 days holiday + Bank holidays, increases with length of serviceCompetitive employer pensionCareer development opportunities£2000 Referral bonus for successful introduction of fellow technicians Adams Morey is a part of the Greenhous Group which holds a position as one of the leading independent commercial enterprises in the UK.
