Even the management are very approachable”.We're looking for a reliable and proactive Yard Operative/Handyman to join our busy commercial vehicle workshop in Broxburn.THE ROLEThis hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organised, and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for general yard duties, workshop and office cleaning, and occasional vehicle collection and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and tidiness across the workshop, offices, and yard.Manage waste disposal and recycling, including bin emptying and sorting.Clean equipment and work areas using sweeping, power washing, and other methods.Carry out general odd jobs as directed by the Branch Manager or Workshop Foreman.Assist with vehicle collection and delivery when required.What We’re Looking ForPunctual, dependable, and self-motivated.Able to work independently and spot tasks that need doing.A good understanding of health and safety practices.A flexible attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.COMPANY BENEFITS30 Days holiday per annum, plus an extra holiday on your birthday (after a year's service)Enhanced company pensionFlexible working hours (subject to availability)Staff discount on new and used cars via our Glenford dealershipBereavement leaveOn-site parkingCompany life-assurance policyHealth & wellbeing supportMortgage adviceReferral programme: Colleagues can receive up to £1,000 for each successful technician referral!To apply for this fantastic opportunity and join our team, you must be eligible to work in the UK and be a resident.
