- RTS Transport Service GmbH has ordered 100 new IVECO S-Way vehicles featuring the latest-generation swap body chassis.
- The new IVECO S-Way units will be delivered throughout 2025 and will complete the current RTS fleet of over 350 vehicles.
RTS, a German transport solutions company, has placed an order for 100 new IVECO S-Way Model Year 2024 vehicles, which will be used for national system transport with leading parcel services, collective consignment organizations, and in beverage logistics.
The first deliveries, which will complete RTS's current fleet of over 350 vehicles, have already begun and will continue throughout 2025, further cementing the long-lasting cooperation between the two companies.
The delivered 6x2 AS260S50Y/FS CM chassis are swap body chassis with a steered third axle, an Active Space large-capacity cab, and a 500 hp xCursor 13 engine by FPT Industrial, all in compliance with the Euro VI-E standard.
The latest generation of IVECO S-Way sets a new benchmark in fuel efficiency for RTS, offering a potential savings of up to 10.54% compared to the previous model, as confirmed by TÜV SÜD. Moreover, the xCursor 13 engine can operate fully on HVO, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to diesel.
