JAC MOTORS presents its range of electric trucks for Europe
As an absolute novelty, the iJAC 4.2 could be seen at its stand, an electric vehicle that, together with the iJAC 7.5, forms the Chinese manufacturer's bet for the European market.

JAC MOTORS has presented its new range of electric commercial vehicles at the IAA Transportation in Hannover. This launch marks a milestone for the Chinese company in its European expansion, reaffirming its commitment to the decarbonisation of transport and sustainable mobility.

At its stand in Hannover, JAC MOTORS has unveiled three new fully electric models designed specifically for the European market: two light trucks and a 4x4 pickup (the latter will not be coming to the Spanish market in the near future). These units incorporate the latest in battery technology, comfort and advanced driver assistance systems.

Electric trucks over thermal ones

The company also highlighted that the trucks are more economically competitive than their internal combustion engine equivalents. Fuel savings reach 600 euros per month and maintenance costs are reduced by 50%. Among its main features, it is worth highlighting:

iJAC 7.5

  • Wheelbase (three options): 3364 mm, 3845 mm, 4474 mm.
  • Payload: 4 tonnes before bodywork.
  • Battery: CATL 101 kWh.

iJAC 4.2

  • Payload: 2 tons before bodywork.
  • Battery: CATL 77 kWh.

These light trucks have ranges of up to 220 km and are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, such as emergency braking and lane departure warning, complying with the strict new European GSR II regulation. In addition, their compact electrical system allows acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in just 7 seconds, while the CATL high-density monobloc battery guarantees reliability and safety.

JAC MOTORS: Innovation and global leadership

With 60 years of experience in vehicle manufacturing, JAC MOTORS has established itself as an international benchmark in the industrial segment. The company has 27 factories and R&D centres around the world and has achieved a significant presence in Europe. It was the first Chinese brand to introduce electric trucks in France and has expanded its coverage to key markets such as Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway and Italy. In Spain, JAC MOTORS leads the zero-emission industrial vehicle sector, achieving a 24% market share thanks to its distributor Oliva Motor.

Commitment to the decarbonization of transportation

Oscar Yu , CEO of JAC MOTORS International, said: “We are committed to creating a harmonious coexistence between people and freight transport through world-leading electric technology. At JAC MOTORS, we believe that the future of mobility must be sustainable and we are proud to offer innovative solutions that contribute to this goal.”

“Zero-emission technology is key to the future of transportation,” concluded Oscar Yu. “At JAC MOTORS, we work to offer solutions that not only benefit our customers, but also the planet.”
