More than just new trucks: why we’re investing in the best
As part of our continued growth, we are excited to welcome eight new DAF XG 530 6×2 tractor units to our fleet. This isn’t just about expanding our capacity; it’s about taking care of our drivers and ensuring we remain at the forefront of a responsible, modern supply chain.

Putting our drivers first

Our drivers are the face of LTS and a core part of the engine that keeps our customer supply chains on track. They navigate the complexities of the road every day to ensure our customers’ goods arrive safely and on time.

Historically in the industry, driver conditions may have been overlooked. But just like the team members that are based in our Coleshill facility, our drivers and operators deserve a workspace that is safe, comfortable, and intuitive.

By choosing the DAF XG models, we’re providing our team with a new and improved ‘office’ space. These trucks are more powerful, but more importantly, they are designed to provide a better human experience for the people who will be using them every day.

Space to breathe: The XG cabs offer industry-leading room and comfort, which is vital for reducing fatigue during long hauls.
Safety as standard: We’ve equipped these vehicles with advanced safety technology, including the DAF Digital Vision System (replacing traditional mirrors with cameras) and Side Detection to protect both our drivers and more vulnerable road users.
A smoother journey: With the TraXon automated gearbox and refined ergonomics, we’re making the physical act of driving as seamless as possible.

Delivering confidence to our customers

When we invest in the latest technology, our customers feel the benefit. A modern fleet means higher reliability, better fuel efficiency, and a reduced environmental impact.
By integrating these 13-litre PACCAR-powered engines into our operations, we are ensuring that your supply chain is not only efficient but also responsible. As strategic logistics partners, we’ve made it our responsibility to deliver a more modern, sustainable, and future-proofed supply chain.

A future-proof supply chain

This investment comes as one step in our wider growth strategy for 2030.
We are evolving because the industry is evolving. Whether we are navigating new trade frictions or pushing for better sustainability, these new vehicles ensure we have the tools to deliver excellence with a human touch.
We will continue to invest across our fleet, infrastructure and technology, to build more scalable, high-quality logistics solutions for our growing customer base.

Dave Hands, Managing Director at LTS Global Solutions, commented: “We’re continually investing in every area of the business to make sure we’re delivering the highest possible standards for our customers. It’s about making sure we’ve got the right assets in place to support our customers as they grow, while also improving efficiency and raising standards across the board. Bringing these new DAF trucks into the fleet is another step forward in that journey.

They not only give us the performance and efficiency we need for long-distance operations but also provide a safer and more comfortable working environment for our drivers, which is hugely important to us as we’re firm believers in giving our staff the best tools available for their respective roles, and giving our customers a best-in-class experience.”

We’re proud of the team behind the wheel and the tech under the hood. Together, they’re helping us move toward a more sustainable and person-centered future in logistics.
