The order reflects the growing appetite among fleet operators for cost-effective ways to decarbonise fleets while extending the life of existing trucks.
NewPower launched in Bicester 2024 and added truck repowering last year to help accelerate the decarbonisation of commercial vehicle fleets by replacing diesel powertrains with proven battery-electric technology.
By converting existing trucks rather than replacing them entirely, repowering offers operators a significantly lower-cost route to zero-emission operations while reducing waste and extending vehicle lifecycles.
NewPower will be showcasing its repowering technology at the Road Transport Expo at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, from 30 June to 2 July.

The order comes as Oxfordshire-based Darcica pushes forward its zero-emission strategy, building on a sustainability strategy that has already seen the company become an industry leader in low-carbon logistics.
It will be one of three new electric vehicles for the firm, along with new 44-tonne and 18-tonne trucks.
