Royal Mail operates the UK's largest fleet of 7.5-tonne trucks, making the trial an important opportunity for Pelican as fleets increasingly look to electrify their operations.

The demo vehicle forms part of Pelican's growing Yutong electric truck business, with trucks having already been supplied to Warburtons alongside several electric tipper and cage tippers.

Pelican is also supporting customers with depot charging infrastructure, high-voltage training and finance packages through Pelican Electric Trucks, Pelican Automotive Training, Pelican EV Charges and Energy Storage Solutions. Financing is available through its Heron Funding Partners business.
