Prometeon returns to RTX to put truck tyre strategy centre stage

Prometeon returns to RTX to put truck tyre strategy centre stage
Prometeon Tyre Group is returning to RTX for the fourth consecutive year, putting the spotlight firmly on truck tyre expertise, fleet-focused support and the importance of having the right tyre strategy in place.

RTX visitors will find Prometeon on Stand GR34 in Hall 2A, where the company will showcase its latest truck tyre products, digital fleet solutions and expert support for commercial vehicle operators.

This year’s presence comes fresh from Prometeon being named Tyre Manufacturer of the Year at the 2025 National Tyre Distributors Association’s (NTDA) Tyre Industry Awards, underlining the company’s growing profile in the UK market and its position as a specialist tyre partner for transport operators.

Flagship tyre products on show

At the heart of the stand will be the R02 Proway, Prometeon’s flagship truck tyre product. Developed for regional and long-haul operations, the R02 Proway is engineered to support fleets with strong mileage performance, confident wet handling, even wear, durability and retreadability, reflecting Prometeon’s focus on premium tyres built for demanding commercial vehicle applications.

The wider display will include key products from Prometeon’s premium truck tyre line-up, giving visitors the opportunity to speak to the team about tyre selection, application matching and how the right fitment can support uptime, operating efficiency and total cost of ownership.

Putting tyre strategy first

Prometeon’s RTX presence is about more than products alone. The company will use the show to highlight the value of a structured fleet tyre strategy, helping operators move away from fragmented or inconsistent fitment decisions and towards a more joined-up approach that starts with the operation: how each vehicle is used, the routes it covers, the terrain it works on and the performance priorities that matter most.

Visitors will also be able to see demonstrations of Pro Management, Prometeon’s centralised tyre management platform. Developed to reduce administration, improve visibility and give fleets clearer information on tyre activity, job history, approvals and costs, the continually evolving platform supports a more transparent and proactive approach to tyre management.

Steve Tift, Managing Director UK and Ireland at Prometeon Tyre Group, says: “Road Transport Expo has become an important event for Prometeon and we are delighted to be returning for our fourth year, particularly following our NTDA Tyre Manufacturer of the Year award win.

“Truck tyres are at the heart of our UK business, and RTX gives us the perfect opportunity to speak directly to operators about the role tyres play in fleet performance. For many businesses, tyres are still viewed too simply as a replacement product. In reality, the right tyre strategy can make a major difference to uptime, compliance, cost control and vehicle performance.

“Our team will be on hand throughout the show to help operators understand which tyres are best suited to their vehicles and applications, how our service plans can support their fleets, and how digital tools such as Pro Management can give them greater visibility and control.”

Expert support for operators

Prometeon’s tyre experts and account managers will be available throughout the event to discuss tyre management strategies, service solutions and how fleets can take a more structured approach to fitting the right tyres to the right vehicles, for the right applications.

The stand will also feature refreshments and comfortable seating, giving operators the chance to have more in-depth conversations with Prometeon’s team in a relaxed setting.

Take on the Scalextric challenge

Adding a competitive edge to the stand, Prometeon will host a Scalextric truck racing challenge, with visitors invited to set their fastest time for the chance to win a brand new iPad. All participants will also receive a branded trucker cap, with further giveaways including air fresheners, car stickers and playing cards.

Steve adds: “RTX is a busy show, so we wanted our stand to be both useful and welcoming. Whether visitors want to talk in detail about tyre performance, understand how Pro Management works, explore service support or simply take on the Scalextric challenge, we are looking forward to meeting them.

“Our message is clear: if you run trucks, come and talk to the truck tyre specialists.”
