SDC Strengthens Regional Sales Support backed by Manufacturing Investment
SDC Trailers has strengthened its regional sales coverage with the appointment of Eliot Bratton and Mark Hudspeth, supporting customers as the business continues to invest in advanced manufacturing and production capability.
Mark Hudspeth has been appointed Sales Manager for the North of England and North Wales, joining the team with valuable industry experience and a deep knowledge of SDC’s trailer range, gained through his previous role with SDC Truck & Trailer Parts. Mark will focus on supporting both new and existing customers across the region with informed, responsive sales support.
The appointments form part of a wider strategy to strengthen customer engagement at a time of continued investment across SDC’s manufacturing operations. Recent upgrades to automation, materials handling, and production technologies are designed to ensure SDC’s exacting quality standards continue to be met, while advancing safety, sustainability and maintaining lead times.
Paul Bratton, President of SDC Trailers, said: “Alongside continued investment in our manufacturing capabilities, these appointments ensure customers have direct access to knowledgeable, locally based technical sales support. These appointments will ensure SDC is well positioned to work closely with operators and deliver high quality semi-trailer solutions as we look ahead to 2026.”
Established over 48 years, SDC Trailers is the UK and Ireland’s largest manufacturer of semi-trailers, supplying a full range of Curtainsider, Boxvan, Platform, Skeletal, Machine Carrier, and Drawbar trailers to the transport and logistics sector. SDC Trailers operates across several locations in the UK and Ireland, with four key manufacturing facilities located in Antrim (Northern Ireland), Mansfield, and Southampton.
