The Official British Crane Truck Operator Challenge sees some of the UK’s best lorry loader operator/drivers take on a series of challenges, testing their skill, precision, and nerves under pressure.

2026 will see prize money increase to a whopping 1st £1500, 2nd £1000 and £500 for 3rd, appropriately rewarding the skill, precision, and focus it takes to be crowned the British Crane Truck Operator of the year. Think you’ve got what it takes?
NEW & Improved Challenges
Accuracy, speed, and precision. This year’s event will feature all-new challenges designed and developed by our Crane Test Team in response to feedback from previous participants. Our goal is the same: to showcase the skills required by crane truck operators out in the field.
Discover our FASCINATING facility & huge range of trucks
We’ll have all our latest crane trucks available to try, in addition to every type of rigid truck for sale, from Beavertails to Removal trucks. We’ll also be pulling back the covers on our huge 30-bay workshops, where we manufacture all of our trucks for longevity and durability, completely in-house.
FUN for the whole Family
In addition to the thrilling challenges themselves, we will also be putting on a fun day out for the whole family, with delicious local food trucks, an on-site thirst-quenching bar, children’s entertainment, and music from the extremely talented Natasha Harper.
