As a Business Controller at Volvo Financial Services, you will be an integral part of a close-knit, multi-skilled team dedicated to both individual and collective success. As a Business Controller, you will be a qualified Accountant or approaching the end of your studies with ACCA or CIMA together with relevant experience in financial reporting or business control. Additionally, you will demonstrate competence in managing multiple tasks and be able to adhere to strict deadlines; possess a high level of competence in IT (specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI) as well as be self-motivated with a proactive approach. You will have a proven record of driving efficiencies as well as the ability to demonstrate cross-functional working within your business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial information relevant to the Business Area
- Reserve modelling and analysis including quarterly review meetings
- (Finance & Accounting), including but not limited to :
- Month-end closing and trending
- Forward planning
- Assisting in Audit
- Commercial activities (e.g. penetration, spread, Proforma)
- Follow-up of action lists on business-critical KPIs
- Assist in business planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Provide high-quality financial information
- Assist with special projects as required
- Constantly drive efficiency improvement for all controlling/reporting-related processes
- Support business functions in delivering controlling advice as needed
