Job Description
Monday to Friday - 9:00am until 5:30pm
- Manage credit control team to deliver expected levels of performance.
- Manage purchase ledger team to deliver expected levels of performance.
- Manage cashier to deliver expected levels of performance.
- Control sales and purchase ledgers, keeping ageing and unallocated payments within acceptable levels.
- Assisting team members with customer, supplier and other department queries where escalation is required.
- Ensuring company policies and processes are adhered to, suggesting and implementing control improvements.
- Ensuring that suppliers are paid promptly.
- Ensuring that the bank reconciliation is completed promptly and accurately, resolving any queries or unallocated items.
- Ensuring that asset register is maintained accurately.
- Assisting with management accounts, forecast and budget preparation to ensure reporting deadlines achieved.
- To deal with staff fairly, ensuring work is allocated evenly and sufficient cover for absences.
- To provide auditors with accurate and timely information.
- To provide cover for other members of the accounting team.
- Other duties as and when required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a calm temperament and be able to work as part of a team.
- Be able to identify and resolve issues, design and implement processes/controls.
- Be able to communicate effectively with and influence customers and colleagues across all departments.
- To work accurately and efficiently to meet targets and deadlines.
- Good Kerridge, Excel and IT skills.

Salary: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
