Job Description
Southdowns Motorhome Centre is looking to hire a new Motorhome Technician.
As the largest motorhome dealership in the South, we have a fantastic network of customers here in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. We have two Portsmouth locations, one for our showroom and accessory shop, and one for our service center where this role is located. Our Service Centre is an ex-IVECO garage and consists of 10 specialist service bays and our valeting department. Southdowns has been in the business for over 20 years and as far as motorhomes go there isn’t much we don’t know.
Our ideal candidate is going to fit well with our team, be neat, and provide a good amount of attention to detail in their work. We work closely with our manufacturing partners and will provide excellent training and development to ensure you have everything you need to excel in your role with us.
You must be able to use a computer.
Job Role
- Fitting equipment including bike racks, all battery types, taps and water equipment, TV, AV, SAT and media systems installs, TV brackets, aerials, Wi-Fi's, awnings, all gas installations, boilers, fridges, A/C units, inverters, damp jobs
- Conducting habitation test and damp test
- Assisting other staff with workshop tasks
Experience
- 2 – 5 years
- Gas Certified or willing to work towards a Gas Certification
- NCC electrical and 12V certification or willing to work towards certification
