Location: Glasgow or Belfast region with frequent travel across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Are you an exceptional leader with a passion for driving commercial success? Due to retirement, we're seeking a Regional Business Manager to join our team at Renault Trucks. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing our sales strategy and working closely with our dedicated dealer network across Scotland and Ireland, to secure New Trucks, LCVs, and Transport Solutions volumes in alignment with our market targets.

As a Regional Business Manager, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team, covering regions including Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to our Network Truck & LCV Sales Manager, who has walked the same path, you'll benefit from their first-hand experience and support.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing developmental support for the Regional Fleet within your designated areas.
  • Managing offers to Dealers, negotiating with them, and delivering on Volume, GP, and strategic objectives as per the business plan.
  • Offering input on pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and emerging market trends, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction.
  • Coaching and developing dealer sales staff, identifying and addressing competency gaps.
  • Conduct regular Business Meetings with Dealers to review performance against targets, agree on action plans, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Supporting Sales Academy engagement and participating in key dealer customer visits as needed.
  • Supporting the development of dealer business plans and sales strategies, encompassing business growth and CRM development.
  • Providing valuable business intelligence on market trends and competitor actions.

Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Relevant industry and product knowledge with a strong grasp of the dealer sales process.
  • Hold a Valid Driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight is essential
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, and customer service.
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of local market/competitor activities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Sound finance knowledge, including Funding of Business Assets.
