Regional role with frequent travel - base at Glasgow West

As Regional Business Support Manager, you will lead and be responsible for the co-ordination of our regional service market support team in the North & Scotland and champion close collaboration with the dealership colleagues to maximise process effectiveness, efficiency and customer service. The role will involve setting up a robust internal structure and working alongside external delivery partners to support the end-to-end operations delivery. We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual who is committed to managing through systems, using data and analytics to drive decisions ensuring increased capability of the regional team aligned to the implementation of our regional strategy to drive customer success and sustainable profitable growth. Key responsibilities:

Inspire and lead the regional support team to ensure that our regional performance is market leading. Develop and promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the regional support team characterized by employee engagement, quality focus, transparency, and accountability Identify & implement best practice in workshop invoicing, claim handling and administration and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to promote continuous improvement. Continually monitor the effectiveness and agility of the regional support functions, proposing and adopting new ways of working to secure that they evolve with changing demands / technology and are optimized for the most efficient delivery of customer service at the customer touchpoints. Identify opportunities for digitalization of our regional support functions and dealer ways of working to make work easier for colleagues and improve the service to customers Develop and manage a regional uptime team to deliver service scheduling, planning, MoT booking and alert monitoring to support customer compliance, maximize vehicle uptime and establish new ways of working with connected trucks Develop and manage a centralized process for contract management to manage pricing, authorize quotations, track expiries and monitor portfolio performance and highlight financial risks Promote a business partnering approach with parts and technical support functions to optimize value, highlight areas for improvement, increase customer sales and support and mitigate financial risks Robustly monitor service market performance, reporting and highlighting opportunities for improvement that mitigate risk or drive profitable growth Coach and support competence development of service market colleagues in business-critical processes to improve customer service, reduce waste and mitigate financial risks to business Contribute to the business planning process, giving strategic input based on data and analytics ensuring the region is aligned to deliver our strategy and objectives. Communicate with the wider regional team, ensuring that an integrated implementation plan exists for the delivery of any agreed projects and retail process improvements. Implement and manage a robust process for the management of our regional fleet of vans and company cars – leading on purchasing and replacement. Support & Co-ordinate business QR compliance providing feedback on areas for improvement. Provide project support for regional infrastructure / CapEx projects. Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager. Education & experience

  • Proven track record of being pro-active and a self-starter with a passion for delivering results through data and analyzation.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to challenge and give feedback across all levels.
  • Calm and Effective under pressure with a pragmatic and open approach.
  • Experience gathering, consolidating, and delivering complex data accurately within required timescales to make business critical decisions.
