Service Advisor/Service Reception

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful DAF Truck Dealership, as a Service Advisor for our busy Workshop Service Reception.

You will be working alongside the current team of Service Advisors and duties will include:

Greeting customers in a friendly and efficient manner both in person and by telephone
Assessing customers’ needs and booking in of trucks for repair or service work
Workshop loading and preparation of job cards
Communication of work to Workshop Controller
Communicating with the customer at all stages of the repair for authorisation if needed
Maintaining company databases
Invoicing and general administrative duties

What are we looking for?

Experience of working within a similar role within the automotive/truck environment would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Commercial vehicle technical knowledge
Positive can-do attitude
Reliability
PC literate
