Job Description
Join Our Thriving DAF Truck Dealership as a Service Advisor!
Do you have a passion for trucks and a knack for exceptional customer service?
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our growing team as a Service Advisor in our busy Workshop Service Reception.
In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' trucks receive top-notch care. You will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, and your responsibilities will include:
- Warmly greeting customers by phone and in person
- Understanding customer needs and scheduling trucks for service or repair
- Preparing job cards and coordinating workshop workload
- Clearly communicating repair details to the Workshop Controller
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process, obtaining authorisation when necessary
- Maintaining accurate company databases
- Handling invoices and other administrative tasks
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Experience in a similar role within the automotive or truck industry
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- A team player attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Understanding of commercial vehicles and their technical aspects
- A positive and can-do approach
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in using computer programs
