Exhibiting on Stand E50, the team will highlight its full range of industry‑leading solutions—including the Elite+ low‑entry chassis, Olympus body range, and advanced bin‑lift systems. Centre stage will be the Elite+ 6x4 RCV fitted with the OmniDEKA‑E automatic electric bin lift, demonstrating the company’s commitment to innovation, operator safety, and sustainable waste‑collection technology.
The OmniDEKA-E is the electrically powered version of the proven OmniDEKA hydraulic bin lift, providing the same functionality and flexibility while offering additional innovative features to deliver better efficiency and achieve lower operational costs.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing fleets, the OmniDEKA-E shares common features and components with its hydraulic counterpart, offering operators already trained on the hydraulic derivative a familiar alternative, simplifying fleet integration, and instilling confidence for users.
“We’re seeing increasing interest in electric RCVs. However, for users that are not quite ready to make the transition, the OmniDEKA-E is a fantastic step towards cleaner, quieter, and more efficient fleet solutions, so RTX Northern Ireland will be a great opportunity for us to share insights and help attendees become more familiar with such products,” said Paul Rochester, General Sales Manager for Bin Lifts and Weighing, Dennis Eagle. “Our electric bin lift is a proven, affordable solution for customers to start reducing emissions, fuel consumption, and operational costs.”
Powered by a low voltage 24V electric drive system, the OmniDEKA E consumes no additional power from the engine, significantly reducing emissions and noise. Controlled field trials have demonstrated that the electric bin lift can deliver a considerable reduction in fuel consumption and has the potential to cut annual CO2 emissions by up to 3,500kg per vehicle. Additionally, as one of the quietest bin lifts on the market, it’s ideal for operating in more noise-sensitive environments such as collections from schools, hospitals and care homes, or early morning or evening collections in urban areas.
Now accounting for roughly 40 per cent of Terberg bin lift sales in the UK, electric bin lifts are increasingly seen as a practical first step toward more sustainable waste collection operations.
The Dennis Eagle team will be on hand at Stand E50 to speak with visitors at RTX Northern Ireland and answer questions about making the switch to its innovative solutions.
