XPO Logistics , a leading provider of innovative and sustainable end-to-end logistics solutions across Europe, has opened a new palletized distribution center in Saint-Égrève, on the outskirts of Grenoble. Operational since October 1, 2025, this facility, which replaces the former site in Fontanil-Cornillon (38), strengthens the performance of XPO Logistics' national network thanks to a configuration that promotes punctuality and reliability for customers in the region. 

An infrastructure optimized for logistics performance 

The new site offers 2,770 m² of cross-docking capacity and over 1,000 m² of office space, with 38 loading docks for heavy goods vehicles, enabling smooth and segmented management of transport flows. The site's layout has been designed to simultaneously accommodate distribution and last-mile delivery activities – which will be operational at this site in February 2026 – based on a principle of shared resources and operational synergy.
 
This site serves a wide variety of professional clients – specialized distributors, manufacturers, and companies in the construction , healthcare , and energy sectors – illustrating XPO Logistics' expertise and ability to adapt its supply chain solutions to each type of flow. 
Like its entire national palletized distribution network, the site is authorized for the transport of regulated goods (ADR), guaranteeing the highest level of safety and operational compliance. 
 
Strategically located in the immediate vicinity of major roads, this site makes it possible to bypass the main traffic constraints of the Grenoble metropolitan area, thus improving the punctuality of deliveries and the reliability of daily operations. 

An exemplary site in terms of energy transition 

In line with XPO Logistics' environmental commitments , this platform incorporates several measures to reduce its impact: low-energy LED lighting, the use of electric trucks within the fleet, and optimized maneuvering areas to minimize waiting times and emissions—a pragmatic approach that reconciles operational efficiency with environmental responsibility.
