Job type: Permanent, Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stevenage
Salary pa. up to £45,000
We are seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function.
- Experience in both Direct and Indirect procurement
- Demonstrated experience of cost reduction and value engineering
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills
- Experience working in a service-oriented organization with demanding customers
- Ability to work on multiple workstreams at the same time
- Adhere to agreed priorities, procedures and processes
- Able to work to challenging deadlines
- Strong skills in Planning, leading and managing projects
- Fast learner and inquisitive
The ideal candidate:
- Robust understanding of end-to-end procurement process
- Able to work to high standards, and adhere to agreed priorities, procedures
- and processes
- Getting new contracts in place in line with the contract expiry calendar
- Effective decision maker
- Able to deal with ambiguity and change whilst maintaining the tenacity and perseverance required to achieve the required objectives.
- Flexible and able to deliver pragmatic solutions which work on the ground.
- Previous industry experience within automotive/fleet business would be advantageous.
