Main responsibilities
Due to an internal move, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Scania Great Britain Leadership Team, as Regional Director for the South-East region.
The primary responsibility of the Regional Director is to proactively lead, manage and develop the region with a strong people, customer and business focus. Crucially, you will drive the business forward ensuring the highest possible standards of safety.
Working with your Leadership Team colleagues, you will define and implement the strategy for the region, continuously monitoring and improving the use of existing business processes and methods. You will oversee daily operations in order to achieve financial and business performance targets, thereby contributing to Scania’s overall profitability. You will be a proactive member of the company Leadership Team, participating in discussions on various topics often outside of your regional remit, focussed on driving the business forwards both culturally and financially.
The South-East Region comprises of 5 Scania branches (South Mimms, Gatwick, Maidstone, Purfleet, Stansted). You would also be expected to travel to our Milton Keynes Head Office and other locations.

Products and services - Maintains an up to date understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks. Understands Scania products and services value proposition connected to processes and business.
SHE - Demonstrates understanding for importance of safety and health policies, procedures and regulations. Creates and safeguards a healthy, safe and sustainable work environment for all employees.
Communication - Listening and communicating openly, honestly and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus
Ensuring Accountability - Holding yourself and others to high standards of accountability, and creating an infrastructure and transparent culture that supports and measures personal and organizational responsibility and accountability
Fostering Learning and Development - Supporting others to develop and learn, recognizing their achievements, and building an organizational culture where knowledge and growth are valued and rewarded
