You will be responsible at a National level to performance manage the Unimog network to deliver volume and quality target agreements in order to achieve national sales targets. You will conduct quarterly Business review with each Dealer Principle to review new business opportunities, sales performance versus targets, fulfilment of retail standards, people development, and other strategic projects to drive new business.
Provide accurate monthly forecast for retail and fleet business at dealer level. Take corrective action when network target agreements are at risk. Be the escalation point to ensure Network partners adhere to internal ordering, finance, and logistics processes.
Manage and support Dealer Principle with managing key fleet accounts by supporting customer presentations, demonstrations, tender submissions, project management meetings and negotiations. Also support Dealer Principle with escalations and corrective actions for fleet customers.
Identify new national business opportunities by conducting market analysis of segments operating 5+ vehicles (Utilities, Fire & Rescue, Road Rail, Highways, Municipal, Airport). Establish and maintain relationship with customer together with supporting network partner. Quantify sales opportunity and provide Unimog prospecting update each quarter to MBT management.
Develop sales strategy for Unimog in the UK including the Residual Value business model (and supporting Used Sales analysis), Demo/Stock programme, Commercial proposition (total cost ownership argumentation, leasing offers, tactical offers) and support Head of Special Trucks in developing Network discount structure and margin model.
Act as deputy for Head of Special Trucks. Support Special Trucks team activities throughout the year to deliver Shows, Events and Customer demonstrations as and when required.
