- Previous experience in the Service department?
- Experience with volume work?
- Able to work within a team?
- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our Truck service department
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
- Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments
- Week 1: 07.00am – 16.00pm
- Week 2: 8.30am – 17.30pm
- Week 3: 10:00am – 19:00pm
Salary: Annual salary from £28,000 - £31,000 per annum plus company bonus
The successful candidate will have:
- A positive can-do attitude
- The ability to produce work to a very high standard
- A team player mentality
- An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting
- Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products
- Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Holiday Allowance of 30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) that will increase with length of service
