Job Description
Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Northern Ireland’s only Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealership are currently recruiting for the following position:
Accounts Administrator
We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator for our Mercedes-Benz Mallusk dealership. You will be enthusiastic, well organised and diligent individual working within a small busy accounts team.
This position is on a full-time basis which is office based.
39-hour week - Monday to Friday (Flexibility with start/finish time)
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in an accounts administration role or similar position
- Proficient IT Skills and Microsoft office to include excel
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail along with strong organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of all accounting practices
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will liaise with both internal and external personnel on a daily basis
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines
Job Role:
· Daily Cashbook postings/Cheque journal posting
· High volume registration of supplier invoices
· Liaising with other departments to ensure supplier invoices are passed in a timely fashion
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Processing payments to suppliers
· Handling cash/preparing lodgements
· Credit card analysis and posting to ledger
· Sales and purchase ledger duties
· Petty cash posting
· Any other ad hoc duties
The successful candidate will benefit from the following:
